A Message From Bruce

My name is Bruce Bain and I am running for Judge of the 11th Civil District court.  This bench is currently held by Mike Miller a liberal Democrat who was swept in by the Obama voting cycle.

My candidacy is about my experience and a proven record of conservative values both in my life and in my practice. I have been a litigator for 26 years. I am a managing partner in the law firm of Bain & Bain and an owner of the Town and Country Mediation Center. I have practiced before state and federal trial and appellate courts throughout Texas.

As for my conservative values, I have voted Republican since the first ballot I pulled. I was in the Young Republicans at UT when being a Republican was not popular. I was a White House Advance Staff Member for President George HW Bush (41) from his Vice Presidency through his Presidential Term. I have worked on numerous conservative judicial campaigns to help conservative Republican judges get elected, and to keep them on the bench. I have also worked for and supported our conservative state and federal legislators.

I am the father of four boys. My oldest is a USAFA graduate who is a pilot in the Air Force. My second is a sophomore at A&M in Engineering and 2 are at Memorial. Two are Eagle scouts and the other 2 are life scouts getting ready to work on their eagle projects. I was born in Texas. My wife Joanie and I have been married 30 years. My wife is also my law partner.

I believe justice delayed is justice denied. Judges must actively manage their dockets and rule quickly and decisively so that cases move forward. Judges must also be balanced and fair to all parties and not legislate from the bench. Cases must be managed correctly to obtain the best case flow so that everyone’s time is respected and rulings are reached promptly. I believe experience and integrity on the bench is essential. I believe I have these qualities to contribute, and I respectfully ask for your support and your vote.
